Being very academically gifted in all subjects, maths has always been my favourite and the one in which I came top of the class. I am currently working my way towards a master's degree in maths and statistics at QUB

Having recently sat and studied for these exams, I know what you need to do in order to pass them. While schools will teach the theory and definitions needed, the exam technique is also just as important. Knowing the definitions and formulas will not guarantee a pass for the exam, but knowing the types of questions to expect and how to solve each one of them will. I plan to start with basic questions that help build up the basic knowledge of each problem, and work our way up to solving exam style questions. Knowing the types of questions to expect will not only make the student best prepared, but also ease any pre-exam nerves. I do not reccomend simply memorising the solutions to these questions, instead understanding the solutions and the steps taken is where my focus will lie.
